Type approval for the CCww STAR-lite GSM/GPRS module has now completed with details as follows:
- According to: GCF-CC V3.27.1 & NAPRD.03 V3.12.0 (R’99)
- Quad-band (800/1800/850/1900)
- GPRS Class B Multislot Class 10
- Voice FR/HR/EFR/AMR
- SMS

CCww and Neomagic Corporation Sign Mou for development and Marketing of Smart-phone

CCww and Neomagic signed an MoU on 8th August 2007 for the joint development and marketing of a Smart-Phone based on CCww's GSM/GPRS protocol stack, Neomagic's MiMagic application processor and NXPs 4904 'single-chip phone'.
A demonstrator of the Windows Mobile 5.0 handset will be available early Q4/07. A manufacture kit for the PCBa will be available for licensing during Q4/07.
