TAIPEI JOINT VENTURE COMPANY FOR MOBILE HANDSET IP AND
SERVICES

Communications Consultants Worldwide
(CCww), a leader in wireless
protocol stack solutions and Winity Technology Inc.,
a solution provider focussed on mobile phone applications,
announced today that they have formed a joint venture
to provide IP and services to speed GSM/E-GPRS/UMTS
handset development.
The joint venture, called CCasia,
is based in Taipei and brings together the most experienced
wireless professionals to provide a one-stop shop for
IP and services to accelerate mobile phone concepts
into quantity production.
Chipset and handset companies can
choose from an extensive menu of IP, including GSM/E-GPRS/UMTS
protocol stacks, base-band, mobile multi-media solutions
(MIDI, MP4, MP3, 3D audio, 2D/3D GUI, 3D game content
middle ware), WiFi (extra lower power 802.11b/g), POC/VoIP,
mobile RFID, advanced mobile memory solutions, and mobile
DVB-H/T.
This is backed up by comprehensive
services from reference design creation, internal GCF
testing, production and yield optimisation, and support
for IOT and field trials.
